The Mind Waves project is an initiative developed by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and its local parters. West Dunbartonshire Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP) is also a funding partner of Mind Waves. It is based around recruiting and supporting a group of Community Reporters, to create and share news stories around local programmes aimed at promoting mental health and wellbeing of communities. Mind Waves has recruited Outside the Box Development Support as the lead partner in supporting volunteers, and welcomes input and discussion with any interested party who can assist in advancing the aims of the project.
The news stories created and shared by the Community Reporters are the work of the individual Reporters, aided by colleagues from Outside the Box Development Support, the Health Board and other agencies involved either as Steering Group members or wider advisors. The news stories do not represent the views of Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board, West Dunbartonshire CHCP nor Outside the Box Development Support.
